Getting Started with
RIEPENHOFF LANDSCAPING
If you're wondering what the process of working with Riepenhoff Landscape looks like, we've created this step-by-step guide that illustrates the steps taken to begin a typical landscaping project.

Step 1
Give Us A Call
When you reach out to us at Riepenhoff Landscape, you'll speak with our registered landscape architect to discuss your project. We'll discuss important details of your landscape, including budget, vision, and schedules. If it's a good fit, we'll move forward and schedule your on-site consultation.
You'll always be directly transferred to our architect when you call, when possible. If a salesperson isn't available when you call, we return your call within 24 hours. Always be sure to leave multiple phone numbers (when applicable) so that we can reach you quickly.

Step 2
On-site consultation
After you've discussed your landscape vision with our architect, one of our team members will visit your site to consult with you about the project. We will measure the site and gather important details about scale, scope, and confirm your vision for your landscape. The on-site consultation is always free. We view this as an opportunity to get to know each other and learn about your needs — which is why we only come by when you will be home. Your input is critical to the process! We do schedule consultations for the weekend, because we know it can be difficult to get away from work to be present at the consultation.

Step 3
Get A Quote
Now that we've measured and assessed your site, we will compile our designs with your vision and create a drawing of your proposed landscape. At this step, we provide you with an estimated quote for your project. Once you approve this design, we collect a $250 design deposit that will be applied to the cost of installation after the project begins. We only offer quotes after visiting your site because each landscape is unique, with specific needs that are sometimes hard to 'ballpark' over the phone.

Step 4
The Work begins
Once you've signed off on the proposed design, we draw up your contract, and work will begin according to the schedule we agreed to. Our lead time depends on a variety of factors. Time of year, type of work, and weather are just a few elements that determine when we will be able to begin working on your project. Spring and summer tend to be our busier seasons, so you can expect a longer lead time during those months. All work is scheduled with the appropriate crew once your deposit is received.
